It's tough for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The top summits have long been mastered.

This is the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

It needed up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowlers that have represented Australia over five decades.

It's challenging for their batters to possess a record if never given the chance.

Finally, the consequence of Australia giving up 330 runs was captain Alyssa Healy being given an opportunity to create her most recent brilliance.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her fastest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

Once she was removed Australia required another 66 at one run per ball - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm happy we have the assurance to achieve that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, should it happen, we are confident we can achieve it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this championship want to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this victory succeeding success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they were eliminated from last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a match Healy was absent due to torn tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the first time at a significant event.
